Bybit Launches AI Trading Skills Allowing Crypto Trades Through Natural Language Commands

Share it :

Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has introduced a new feature called AI Trading Skills that allows traders to execute crypto transactions using natural language commands through popular artificial intelligence platforms. The system enables users to interact with the exchange through AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor and Windsurf, removing the need for traditional trading dashboards. Bybit said the technology is designed to simplify the trading process by converting conversational prompts into structured actions within its trading infrastructure. The launch represents a growing shift toward AI driven financial tools that allow investors to manage digital assets through automated and conversational interfaces.

The platform works by translating human language instructions into API based commands that connect directly to Bybit’s trading systems. Users can request live cryptocurrency prices, review market charts, monitor order book depth and execute spot or derivatives trades by simply typing instructions to an AI assistant. This model eliminates the need for traders to navigate complex exchange interfaces, which often require multiple screens and technical knowledge. Instead, the AI interprets the command and executes the appropriate action on the platform while providing market data and confirmations in real time.

Bybit said the system is supported by a large network of application programming interfaces that allow deep integration with its trading infrastructure. In total the platform uses more than two hundred fifty API endpoints that enable users to perform a wide range of functions without leaving the conversational interface. These functions include portfolio monitoring, order placement, asset transfers, and interaction with various financial products offered by the exchange. Traders can also execute batch orders or conditional trades through simple text instructions that are automatically translated into precise trading commands.

The exchange has structured the platform around several modules that support different areas of digital asset trading and account management. These modules provide access to market intelligence tools, spot and derivatives trading, savings and yield products, and account operations such as deposits, withdrawals and currency conversions. Traders can also view real time candle charts, analyze market liquidity through order book data and manage leveraged positions through AI generated instructions. The goal is to create an environment where complex trading strategies can be executed quickly without requiring users to manually operate multiple trading tools.

Security remains a major focus for the system as automated trading tools become more widely used. Bybit said new users are initially placed in a simulated test environment where they can practice using AI commands without risking real funds. This testnet mode allows traders to learn how the conversational system operates before moving into live trading conditions. When users switch to live trading, all transactions require explicit confirmation, ensuring that traders remain in control of each operation and that AI generated instructions cannot execute automatically without approval.

The exchange also said that connections between AI assistants and its platform are secured through authentication protocols that verify every instruction before it is processed. Once a command is entered, the AI converts the request into a verified API call that is then executed within Bybit’s system. This layered approach is intended to reduce potential security risks associated with automated trading tools while still allowing users to benefit from faster and more intuitive market access.

Bybit executives believe that conversational trading systems could reshape how both retail and professional investors interact with cryptocurrency exchanges. As artificial intelligence tools become more capable of interpreting complex instructions, traders may increasingly rely on AI driven interfaces to analyze markets, manage portfolios and execute trades across multiple digital asset platforms. The company said its AI Trading Skills system builds on earlier innovations and represents a step toward a future where artificial intelligence plays a larger role in managing digital finance operations.
