The global asset tokenization market has surpassed 25 billion dollars in onchain value, reflecting accelerating institutional and retail interest in blockchain based representations of real world assets. According to data from rwa.xyz, total real world asset tokenization has reached approximately 25.03 billion dollars, highlighting steady expansion in a segment that includes tokenized bonds, equities, commodities and other financial instruments.

In Indonesia, crypto investment platform Pintu, operated by PT Pintu Kemana Saja and supervised by the Financial Services Authority, has expanded its product offering by listing 10 new global tokenized assets within its application. The move allows users to gain blockchain based exposure to established international companies and exchange traded funds directly through a crypto interface.

Among the newly listed tokenized assets are representations linked to Mastercard, JPMorgan Chase, Chevron, Advanced Micro Devices and UnitedHealth Group, along with tokenized versions of major bond and equity ETFs. The assets are designed to mirror the performance of their underlying instruments while being recorded and transferred on blockchain networks.

Tokenization refers to the process of representing ownership rights to an asset as a digital token stored onchain. This model enables fractional ownership, faster settlement times and programmable transfer conditions. It also introduces greater transparency, as transactions can be verified on public ledgers. Industry observers note that blockchain based infrastructure can reduce operational friction compared with traditional settlement systems, particularly in cross border transactions.

At recent global conferences, real world asset tokenization has emerged as a central theme, with analysts pointing to growing institutional participation. Large financial entities are exploring blockchain rails to issue, manage and distribute tokenized bonds and funds, seeking efficiency gains and broader investor access.

Pintu’s expansion increases the number of tradable crypto and tokenized assets on its platform to more than 300. The company said the addition aims to provide users with broader diversification opportunities, allowing portfolios to extend beyond purely crypto native projects into tokenized representations of established global equities, bonds and commodities such as gold and silver.

The rapid rise in tokenized real world assets underscores a structural shift in how financial products may be issued and traded in the coming years. As regulatory clarity improves and infrastructure matures, platforms that integrate traditional assets with blockchain based access could play a growing role in bridging conventional finance and decentralized markets.
